Na última terça-feira (27) a Netflix divulgou um novo pôster de “Death Note”, nele podemos ver o personagem Ryuk e como será o seu visual no live-action. Ryuk é um shinigami (espírito da morte) que deixou cair seu Death Note, o personagem é dublado pelo ator Willem Dafoe (“Homem-Aranha”).

Na trama, Light Turner encontra um Death Note, caderno que causa a morte de todos que tem seu nome escrito nele. Junto de um Shinigami (deus/espírito da morte na mitologia japonesa) chamado Ryuk, Light começa a causar a morte de diversos criminosos com o caderno, se considerando um defensor chamado Kira. E com isso, o “deus do novo mundo” começa a ser caçado pelo melhor detetive do mundo, conhecido como L.
O elenco conta com Nat Wolff (“Cidades de Papel”), Willem Dafoe (“A Grande Muralha”), Margaret Qualley (“The Leftovers”) e Keith Stanfield (“Snowden”).
“Death Note” estreia dia 25 de agosto.
